I applied for an apartment that I later found out had been taken off of the market before I even applied for it (why it was still online?). When I inquired about refunding my application fee they said they don’t do that, even though I applied for something that there was no way that I could rent. Be careful and double check that the apartment you want is available.

I had an awful experience at the San Carlos building in Hyde Park. The place has cockroaches and maintenance was slow. I had a clogged sink for weeks before they decided to fix it. The manager was very difficult to get get in contact with. The building was nice, but they slammed me with fees on top of the high rent. I could go on... Perhaps the other properties and managers are better but that wasn't my experience.

I lived in the San Carlos building for exactly two years. Grandin Properties was wonderful from my first inquiry into the apartment all the way through returning my security deposit. Ken was accommodating in every way imaginable. Outside of the actual people within Grandin, the unit was beautiful and well maintained over the years. I didn’t have a single complaint, and would HIGHLY recommend that Grandin Properties be the first place prospective renters look in the Cincinnati area.

Easily the most difficult apartment management company I have ever rented from. Completely unprofessional and unable/unwilling to make basic repairs at their properties. I don't know how they have any even remotely positive reviews.
